Usually it's "IĀ need a hero"... but this time IĀ got to BE the hero after getting the opportunity to design this year's merch!
About the Project
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's the iHeartMedia 2022 Hackathon! iHeartMedia hosts a yearly hackathon and the 2022 theme was comic book superheroes! IĀ knew it should be fun, loud, but simple so I sat down and began throwing things into our team brainstorm file.
The UX team worked together to finalize our idea board. IĀ then took on the responsibility to bring these designs to life in Adobe Illustrator. Afterwards we gave the designs to the hackathon team to vote and decide on official hackaton logo of 2022.
Project Outcome
The hackathon was a two day whirlwind but there is nothing more amazing than seeing your vision come to life. We had the logo printed onto shirts, hats and stickers that were given to the teams.
It was absolutely incredible to be able to have this opportunity to create the symbol of such an exciting event. Here's to saving the day one hack at a time! Boom! Pow! Wham!
