🍔 Vegan Food House

Nothing sounds more like home than fried chicken, mac n cheese, and some southern bbq... but what if it was vegan? In this challenge I got to reimagine this unique Dallas spot, Vegan Food House. Working from the original logo, it was a confusing mix of elegance and contrasting colors.

I knew from the start I wanted to bring a cozy, welcoming feel to their brand with a modern twist. How modern though? That was the real experimentation in these beginning sketches. However as you can see towards the end, the rounded illustrations really take shape.

Working from Procreate to Illustrator, I fell in love with this fully hand illustrated approach for this favorite food spot's logo. By rounding out and truly customizing their branding, we are able to carry that personable feel beyond just the food.

Beyond the first impression logo, I wanted to carry the personality and even expand on it onto different products for the restaurant. We love illustrations and pops of personality (I mean who isn't afraid of heights??).
